05-Nov-2018:  11 (ex-Dunedin Brill tram) departs Cathedral Square, the sad view of Christchurch Cathedral in the background - the spire fell in the Feb 2011 earthquake and the west wall collapsed in the June 2011 quake.

The cathedral has been deconsecrated and the Anglican Church wants to demolish it, but it appears that the cathedral may be rebuilt. For now, massive steel structures support the western end of the cathedral.
