Christchurch's Restaurant Tram is now one of only two operating examples of its type in the Southern Hemisphere after Melbourne's saftey regulator pulled all of its trams off the tracks.  (SW6.939 at Ballarat Tramway Museum is the other operating restaurant tram.)
